  22.     I submitted an article to AC.  It sat in their files for
  23. months, with nobody telling me if it was accepted or rejected.  I
  24. phoned the editor half a dozen times, and each time he said he'd
  25. "check and get back to me."  He never did.  After six months of this,
  26. I withdrew the article.

  28.     In the same period of time, AmigaWorld accepted and paid for
  29. four articles.

  31.     I still wanted to write for AC, so I tried a different method.
  32. Instead of sending an article, I phoned AC in advance with some
  33. article ideas.  The editor thought they were good and said, "let me
  34. check and make sure nobody else is working on the same idea.  I'll get
  35. back to you."  He never did.  This happened several times.  I stopped
  36. calling.

  38.     I wish AC luck, but if they want more writers, they have to
  39. treat them a little better.
